MERTECH D-20A Promatic GREENRED — an automatic banknote authenticity detector. Detections are performed according to the PSD and Antistokes (IAS) systems. Banknote analysis is performed using machine-readable features. After the detection, one of the two signals, green or red, lights up on the body.

Advantages of this model

The small banknote detector does not take up much space. For installation, only 135*165 mm of area is required. The device body is made of plastic and polycarbonate.

The device works on the traffic light principle. Checking the authenticity of money can be done by staff of any level of qualification. During operation, 8 detections are used:

1. Infrared;
2. Ultraviolet;
3. Magnetic;
4. Optical density control;
5. Geometric control of the banknote;
6. Special "AND" element;
7. Spectral characteristic;
8. Double checking

The front panel has 2 LED displays: red and green. If the banknote is doubtful, the red signal is turned on. If the banknote is genuine, the green signal is turned on. The probability of error tends to zero: the system recognizes suspicious banknotes with high accuracy.

Operating principle

The device works only with rubles. Analysis speed: 0.5 seconds. During operation, direct and reverse feed is performed. The direction in which the money is inserted does not matter.

The check is accompanied not only by visual, but also by audio indication. When a counterfeit banknote is detected, the device emits an unpleasant sound. When new banknotes are issued, the detector firmware can be updated.

The device is suitable for quick verification of banknote authenticity. This is an excellent solution for high-traffic points: supermarkets, cafes, beauty salons, gas stations, ticket offices, pharmacies, etc.

This model does not have a battery. The device operates from a power adapter. A USB port is used for connection.
