The M-ER 221 F Install model is one of the thinnest built-in electronic scales available on the market. They are designed to be integrated into cash boxes or tables. This model can also be used as a standalone device. Weighing range: from 40 grams to 15 kilograms.
Design Features
The casing is made of durable metal. The platform is made of food-grade stainless steel. Dimensions of the casing: 330*320*80 mm. Platform size: 330*320 mm. The load cell has an OIML certificate. The side panel features an LED display, tare and zeroing buttons. These elements duplicate the software functionality of the scales. Since the scales are built-in, the main functionality is embedded at the software level.
The M-ER 221 F Install scales have multiple connection interfaces. The RS-232 interface can be used to connect to a POS system.
Electronics and Software
The scales synchronize with a computer via CAS-M and POS-2M protocols. The device supports integration with the 1C system and most online cash registers. Drivers for synchronization can be downloaded for free from the manufacturer’s website.
The device can synchronize with OPOS and JavaPos. The electronics are compatible with Windows and Linux OS. Older versions of Windows are supported: 7, 8, XP. A virtual COM port driver is required for these OS. It can be found on the manufacturer’s website under the “Download” tab.
No driver is required for Windows 10. Connection to Linux is made through cdc_acm. This is a standard module that automatically loads when the scales are connected to Ubuntu.
