The label cutter is a mounted accessory designed for the fast cutting of receipt tape. Unlike the separator, the knife does not form adhesive labels. It is intended for use with paper receipts.
What is a label cutter?
This printer accessory automatically cuts the tape into separate receipts. The result is a smooth and neat cutting line. The operator does not need to cut the paper manually. They can serve customers more quickly.
The mounted part is not included in the basic assembly. But it can be purchased additionally. The accessory is suitable for MPRINT TLP100 thermal transfer printers.
Resource of the sharp surface: 2 million cuts. The blade self-sharpens during operation. However, unlike the separator, the cutter should not be used with sticky tapes without a backing. If the adhesive substance gets on the knife, small particles of dust and paper fibers will start to stick to it. In the long run, this can lead to a decrease in the quality of the cut.
