MERTECH 80 is a desktop thermal printer for printing receipts. The device is available in several modifications. They differ in the set of available interfaces. This version of the printer can be connected to the cash register via RS-232, USB, RJ12, Ethernet.
Specifications
The MERTECH 80 printer operates on the principle of thermal printing. The information carrier is a check thermal tape with a sensitive layer. When the heated thermal head touches the tape, the surface of the carrier darkens.

Advantages of the model
The MERTECH 80 check thermal printer can print linear and two-dimensional codes. Linear barcodes EAN 13, EAN 8; ITF; UPC-A; UPC-E; CODEBAR; CODE 39, 93, 128 are available for printing. It also prints two-dimensional barcodes PDF417 and QR.
The model has a check cutter. Cutter resource: 2 million activations. The thermal head can print 150 kilometers of checks. The printer has a paper presence sensor and a cover opening sensor. Lighting and sound indicators are provided for performance monitoring.
The memory capacity of the thermal printer: RAM 2 Mb, Flash 4 Mb. The package includes a free program for managing print templates. The device supports ASCII and GBK fonts, Encoding 47. The model was adapted for EGAIS operation.
