The UHF terminal MERTECH Seuic UM3 expands the functionality of a smartphone or PDA. It allows for the scanning of barcodes and recognition of RFID tags. To use the mobile device as a data collection terminal, it must be secured to a holder and synchronized via NFC.
Scanning Capabilities
The UHF terminal can read RFID tags at ultra-high frequency. Reading is performed even in open spaces. Outdoors, the scanner responds to RFID tags up to 15 meters away, which is 20% more than similar models. It can recognize up to 200 radio frequency tags in one second.
The scanning module recognizes barcodes in challenging conditions:
- from dirty or crumpled labels;
- from transparent or bubble wrap;
- from smartphone and tablet screens;
- from images with high dot density.
The built-in scanner recognizes any 1D and 2D barcodes. It can be used for working with the "Honest Sign" marking and EGAIS excise stamps, as well as for scanning QR codes.
Advantages of the Model
The workflow is accompanied by audio prompts in the Russian language. This innovative solution optimizes the interaction between humans and computers. The device can be used for inventorying goods and material values, as well as for checking electrical networks.
The terminal is equipped with a high-capacity battery (6400 mAh). A full charge lasts for 8 hours of continuous operation. Connection to the corporate network is achieved via Bluetooth 5.0.
The device, with an IP65 protection class, can operate in dusty warehouses, in the rain, or in fog. It withstands contact with wet hands or hands soiled with oil.
