The MERTECH 2420 P2D is an updated corded 2D scanner for retail, warehouses, and order pickup locations. Designed for intensive daily use, this model features an improved hardware platform, enhanced display, and enhanced housing protection.

Scanning Module Advantages
The MERTECH 2420 P2D uses a modern 2D Image module based on the A7 chip, which ensures faster and more accurate data processing when reading barcodes. The scanner operates at speeds of up to 100 scans per second, allowing for efficient handling of product flows.
The scanner reliably recognizes 1D and 2D barcodes, including Data Matrix, QR Code, MicroQR, PDF417, Data Matrix, and Aztec. This makes the model suitable for use with the Chestny ZNAK and EGAIS systems, including for recording alcohol, tobacco, medicines, footwear, and other marked products.
The camera's wide viewing angle of 40° horizontally and 31° vertically, as well as high sensitivity to barcode position (tilt up to ±65°, deflection up to ±60°, and 360° rotation), allow for reading codes without the need for precise aiming and alignment of the product.
Anti-reflective 3500K LED backlighting and a 525nM contrast target ensure stable scanning in any lighting conditions. The scanner works correctly with reflective surfaces and codes on mobile device screens.
The minimum barcode contrast is 20%, and the minimum resolution is 3 mil, allowing for confident reading of small and poorly printed labels. The scanning range reaches 380 mm, depending on the code type.
