The MERTECH CL-2420 uses a 2D imaging module based on the updated A7 chip, which ensures stable data processing and a reading speed of up to 100 scans per second. The scanner reliably recognizes both linear and 2D barcodes, including Data Matrix, QR Code, MicroQR, PDF417, and other formats.
The minimum barcode contrast is 20%, and the minimum resolution is 3 mil, allowing for scanning of poorly printed and small labels. The reading range reaches 380 mm, depending on the code type.
The camera's wide 40° × 31° field of view and high sensitivity to barcode position (tilt up to ±65°, deflection up to ±60°, and 360° rotation) allow for scanning items without precise aiming, speeding up workflows in high-volume environments.
Anti-reflective LED 3500K illumination and a high-contrast 525nM triangular aimer ensure stable reading in bright light, on reflective surfaces, and from mobile device screens.
The scanner supports the Chestny ZNAK and EGAIS systems, and its 512 KB of built-in memory allows it to store over 4,000 EGAIS codes during temporary network outages.
Data transfer is via Bluetooth and BLE 5.0 using a USB receiver. The wireless range reaches 250 meters, making the model ideal for use in warehouses, retail spaces, and receiving areas.
