The MERTECH MovFast S40C is an industrial data acquisition terminal with a physical keypad for warehouse, store, manufacturing, logistics and PVZ. The model runs on Android 13 and an octa-core MediaTek MT8786, is equipped with an E5-ER extended-range 2D scanner and retains a compact body for one-handed operation.

The key advantages of the MERTECH MovFast S40C are a physical keyboard with three scan keys, an E5—ER scanner that reads Code 39 100 mil at a distance of up to 7.4 m, and a hot-swappable battery. The terminal runs on Android 13 with GMS, is equipped with 4/64 GB memory with a microSD slot up to 256 GB, supports Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz, 4G, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC.

Long-range scanning and physical keyboard

The E5-ER (Extended Range) scanning module with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels is suitable for scanning goods in hand, and for reading codes from boxes, pallets and remote racks. Code 39 100 mil is recognized at a distance of up to 7.4 m, Code 39 20 mil — up to 1.3 m, QR Code 20 mil — up to 70 cm. The terminal supports basic 1D and 2D codes, including Data Matrix, QR Code and PDF417, and is compatible with the USAIS and the Honest Sign system.

The 21-key front keyboard is convenient for entering numbers and codes without a touchscreen. There are three scan keys — front and two side, a programmable key, separate volume and brightness keys and three touch navigation keys "Menu", "Home", "Back".

Compact TSD for daily operation

The MERTECH MovFast S40C is equipped with an industrial 4-inch IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 800×480 and a typical brightness of 450 cd/m2. Panda MN228 protective glass is an analog of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. With dimensions of 159.5 × 66.4 × 19.4 mm, the terminal weighs 265 g.

The battery provides up to 14 hours of battery life, charging takes from 3 hours. Thanks to hot swapping, a dead battery can be replaced without turning off the device. USB Type-C with OTG and Pogo Pin interface are provided for connection.

The ABS plastic and polycarbonate housing is designed for intensive use: IP65 protection protects the device from dust and water jets, and the structure can withstand repeated falls from a height of up to 1.5 m. The operating temperature range is -20 to +55 °C.

Like other terminals in the MovFast line, the S40C can use MERTECH software tools for corporate use: MDM AngelWatch for centralized device management, Movprofile for configuring scan profiles, MovStage for rapid configuration deployment, and Kiosk mode for restricting access to applications.

The MERTECH MovFast S40C is suitable for tasks where physical keys, long-range scanning, and mobility are needed: acceptance, inventory, order picking, moving goods, and labeling in a warehouse, store, and factory.

The standard package includes a TSD, a safety glass, a rechargeable battery, a battery cover, a 5 V / 2 A power adapter, a USB Type-C cable, a wrist strap, a quick user manual, a warranty card and a packing box. A quick-release pistol grip, bumper or case, additional protective glass, additional batteries, charging stations, arm clip and straps are optionally available.
