QR Payment Terminals

A QR payment terminal (QR code display) sits at the checkout and shows the customer a QR code with the purchase amount. The customer scans it with a smartphone camera and pays in a bank or payment app, and the cashier sees the payment confirmation in the POS software. No cash or card terminal is needed, and QR payment fees are usually lower than card acquiring.

How a QR code display works

1. The cashier rings up the sale and the POS software generates a QR code with the amount.
2. The code appears on the 2.4" color screen of the terminal connected via USB or Bluetooth.
3. The customer scans the code or taps the phone on the NFC tag and confirms the payment.
4. The screen shows the payment status and the receipt is closed.

Compatibility: the terminal displays the QR code generated by your POS software or payment provider. Before buying, ask our manager whether your POS supports output to an external QR display.
