A label printer for marketplaces prints product barcodes and shipping labels that sellers stick on packages before delivering to Uzum Market, Wildberries or Ozon warehouses. Printing on an office laser printer is slower and costs more, and blurry codes are hard for warehouse scanners to read. A MERTECH thermal printer prints a label in a second on a self-adhesive roll with no toner or ink.
Which labels a seller needs
- Product barcode — on every unit, most often 58×40 mm.
- Box or shipment label — on each package, usually 75×120 mm or 100×150 mm.
- Asl Belgisi marking code — DataMatrix for goods subject to marking.
Width matters: a 58 mm printer handles only product labels; box labels need a printer with at least 80 mm print width.
Which printer to choose
| Model | Media width | Print method | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| MERTECH LP58 EVA | 25–58 mm | Direct thermal | New sellers, product labels only |
| MERTECH DT58 TEMO | 20–60 mm | Direct thermal, up to 150 mm/s | Product labels, high volume |
| MERTECH LP80 EVA | up to 80 mm | Direct thermal | Product and 75×120 box labels |
| MERTECH DT80 ZEMA | 20–80 mm | Direct thermal, up to 180 mm/s, Ethernet | Sellers with several workstations |
| MERTECH TLP100 TERRA NOVA | up to 108 mm | Thermal transfer and direct thermal | Any format, durable labels, textiles |
The printers work with marketplace seller accounts through the Windows driver: download the label as a PDF and print it like a normal document. For clothing and shoes with sewn-in labels, use a thermal transfer printer with fabric tape.
What else a marketplace seller needs
- 58×40 and 75×120 mm thermal labels.
- A barcode scanner for order picking and code checks.
- Scales to weigh shipments.
